Greetings, readers! I would like to bring a very special release to your attention.
"Train to Anguish" is a YA/ NA Urban Fantasy about a young woman who travels to an all-male war academy as a political maneuver. The book is separated into three parts and walks through the young woman's struggles as she tries to complete her tasks while navigating male/ female relationships.
In a recent discussion with S.E. Isaac, who is a past member of our armed services, she explained to me how close this book is to her heart - as writing this story allowed her to work through some of her past experiences while serving in Iraq.
I have read a few of S.E.'s erotic romance releases and thoroughly enjoyed them. I haven't had a chance to read this release, but it is already downloaded to my kindle and waiting on me to finish some of my projects so I can find some reading time.
I hope you'll take a moment to check out this release and share it with your book loving friends. Thank you.
Coming from a family of military members, S.E. Isaac learned at an early age what it meant to travel. She spent six years of her childhood in Germany and the remainder in Missouri, USA. She became a young mother at the age of sixteen and learned what determination, motivation, and inspiration could do to one’s life.
She has experienced just about everything life can throw at a person, from serving in the military, seeing the effects of war, divorces, childbirth, financial struggles, being a single parent and raising a special needs child alone . Life hasn’t always granted her the happiness, which she desired, but she never quit treading water. You have to fight for what you want in life.
Writing has always been an outlet for her, even at the young age of eight, which is when she started writing poetry and short stories. It has always been a dream to have her work published, and to have readers connect with her characters. She believes that is every writer’s dream--to have their work truly read.
S.E. Isaac and I are putting together an amazing anthology for 2018. We are extremely excited and have much of the beginning legwork completed. All we need is to line up the authors.
The theme for the anthology is: A feline shifter hero that has commitment issues and his mate that has no plans to let him get away.
25% of the proceeds will be donated to a worthy charity and the remainder divided between the contributing authors. We will have both an eBook and Print version.
The stories are to be unique, 15 to 20K words in length, and are due March 24, 2018. Release will be on April 24, 2018.

First Amazon Review for "A Second Life As A Bear"...
5.0 out of 5 stars Love is love!

Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a book about redemption and love. Tobias seeks redemption for his past. The Dásreach has given him his opportunity. But first he needs to move past his past and accept himself and his Bear. Leonidas has lived 177 long years without a mate and without the acceptance of his parents. He finds companionship from time to time but he yearns for more. When Tobias is sprung on him to train, Leo feels stirrings in his own spirit animal. Longing. Can they be the balm for each other's souls? This is a well-written paranormal romance touching on a wide variety of subjects from PTSD to homophobia and acceptance. It is part of a series and is best if read in order. The lessons it teaches are universal. Love is love. It doesn't matter who is on the receiving end. Everyone deserves it. This story builds on an amazing tale and the journey the Dásreach follow to find their mates. I can't wait to read where their journey takes them all next! A definite 1-click!
Josette Reuel spent many years in the corporate world writing stuffy computer software manuals, until one day a shape-shifting dragon kidnapped her and dragged her off to be his destined mate... as the words flowed onto the page, she realized that it was time to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a published author.
An avid reader from her earliest memories, Josette enjoys many genres; however, her current passion is anything Romance. Her love of Fantasy and the Paranormal tends to come out in all of her writing with strong alpha heroes, each with a little something extra.
Josette writes paranormal romance of varying degrees of heat. She believes in LOVE in all of its forms and doesn’t discriminate or sensor her muse. If you enjoy reading a love story, if you enjoy paranormal creatures, alpha males, and the heroes/heroines that change their lives, then how about giving her books a try?

c) Josette Reuel UNEDITED EXCERPT --
Tobias paced the small room. His nerves forcing his feet to move even with no where to run.
There were no windows and the room only contained a small round table with two chairs. The wooden furniture was worn with use, but gleamed with a fresh shine. He knew every inch of this room and that furniture. That’s what happened when you spent so much time in one place. He had spent hours tracing the grooves on the table top with his fingers. He had spent hours of waiting, hours of telling his story, and hours of questions since coming to this place.
This was something like the tenth time he had been brought to this specific room after he had helped Rogue escape the clutches of his boss. A good deed rewarded with knowledge he shouldn’t have. Tobias had watched a man turn into a bear and then back to a man again.
The lack of windows and his back and forth movement… not to mention the waiting… and the waiting… Tobias had lost all track of time.
Once upon a time he had prided himself on his ability to track the hours no matter the situation. Back then he was patient as stone when forced to wait for his marks to reach the perfect spot for him to complete his mission. Of course, that was before his country turned its back on him.
Tobias sighed and began another circuit of the room.
He would have thought that his mind would be more freaked out, but instead it was filled with a buzzing impatience. A feeling of something momentous about to happen. The last time he had felt this way was on the bus heading to basic training for the Navy.
Logically, Tobias knew he should be afraid. These men were something more than human, and he knew more than any one-hundred-percent-human should… he knew they existed.
